COMMODITY MARKETS

The idea of investments in commodities is that they have an intrinsic value- predominantly dictated by the demand and supply and cannot be inflated. Commodities like Precious Metals (Gold and Silver) can offer upheaval insurance against financial and political problems and are often seen as a good support for a portfolio of other assets like bonds and stocks because they will generally reduce both risk and volatility.

Commodities in the energy sector like Oil is the world’s most commonly traded commodity. Also known as petroleum, it has its largest markets in New York, Singapore and London but both crude oil and its refined products are sold and bought throughout the world.

Regardless of whether the metal or energy commodities rise or fall; our trading strategies are designed to take advantage of this via both longing or shorting these markets.
